Alice Waters, Owner, Chez Panisse & Founder, Edible Schoolyard Project. When Alice opened her restaurant in 1971 it sparked a national movement toward local, organic, sustainably sourced food. Now a committed activist, her Edible Schoolyard Project, has spawned food education programs in more than 5,000 schools.

Christine Farren, Executive Director, Foodwise, has supported this organization for over 22 years as they operate world-class farmers markets and education programs to connect the Bay Area community with fresh, local food and sustainable family farms.

With Stellar, they believe their pretzels are little works of art and their creative packaging reflects that philosophy. By partnering with emerging artists, Stellar provides a platform for them to showcase their talents.
